Meet Pastor Brian & Amy Reich
We began Oak Meadows Christian Academy in 2022. However, our homeschooling journey started in 2007 when our daughter Arwyn was born.
As young parents, we didn’t know much, but we did know that we wanted to provide the very best of our daughter. That is why we made the choice to homeschool. It was not easy living on a single income, but the precious moments and close-knit family we created made it all worthwhile. We’ve never regretted our choice to invest in our kids.
Amy had previous experience in professional childcare and early childhood development and easily transitioned into homeschooling through unit studies. As our family grew and expanded with the birth of our daughters, Lydia and Elsa, so too did our homeschool methods and experience. We found that there are many diverse and wonderful approaches to homeschooling, and we tried many of them adding what we found helpful from each of our experiences.
From Classical to Charlotte Mason to Abeka, we found there is something valuable in every approach and were happy homeschooling our kids in a way that fit our family.
During the Pandemic, we saw many of the families who had been relying on public and private schools get let down by the system. It seemed that the students’ needs were easily cast aside for other concerns and parents felt powerless and without any real options. We also saw a turn towards unethical and immoral ideologies being taught and encouraged in these places, which created a detrimental atmosphere for raising up children the right way.
That’s when we realized that homeschooling should be an option for every family. So, we started OMCA with the goal of providing an option for people who felt stuck with the system.
You can homeschool! We can help!

Our Mission
To empower and support families who choose homeschooling for their children by providing affordable educational support and enrichment programs.
Our Christian Beliefs and Purpose
We are a Christian Homeschool Learning Center and hold daily chapel services for our students.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God, inerrant in the original writing, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and practice.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father, born of the Virgin Mary through the Holy Spirit and is fully God and fully man.
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, male and female; that through sin Adam incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God in hell.
We believe all human beings are born in the likeness of Adam, inheriting a sin nature.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified by faith in Him on the grounds of His death and resurrection.
We believe in the imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
We believe marriage is an institution given by God to reflect the nature of Christ’s relationship to the church and is intended by God to be between one man and one woman for life.
STATEMENT OF CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

Of necessity, this involves OMCA’s understanding and belief of what qualities or characteristics exemplify a Christ-like life. Even though parents may personally believe differently, while enrolled at Oak Meadows Christian Academy, all students are expected to exhibit the qualities of a Christ-like life that will be taught by OMCA and to refrain from certain activities or behavior. Thus, Oak Meadows Christian Academy retains the right to refuse enrollment or to expel any student who engages in or supports immoral practices that are not consistent with Christian the Christian faith as is interpreted by the members of OMCA board of directors.
